Charming village house with typical Mediterranean garden home to olive trees, fig bushes and scented herbs located in the lovely Cathar village of Montreal, just 15 minutes from the historical town of Carcassonne.

The village of Montreal has all amenities that you need on foot, including bakers, butchers, pharmacy, bank, several groceries shops, bar/cafe, garage and plenty more.  Just a few hundred metres walk from the house is a full length open swimming pool with toddlers/baby pool, tennis courts and children's playground.

The house is available all year round to rent, from one week up to several months - what makes our house special is that you don't have to share the space with the owners as you would in other holiday rental houses, once you get the key, you can relax and take it easy!

We have plenty of suggestions on wonderful things you can do nearby, including exploring the mystical Cathar ruins, or going to the beach just 45 minutes drive away, or in the winter, going skiing in the Pyrenees - just 1 hours drive to the closest resort, in addition to visiting the famous UNESCO heritage "Cite de Carcassonne" just 15 minutes drive from the house, or tasting wines from our village's caves that won the Gold Medal for its delicious Chardonnay wine!
